I have a background in agriculture and agri-food with extensive management and publication experience at national and international levels. I have advocated for the agricultural transformation of climate-resilient agri-food systems to improve agricultural productivity, increase incomes, reduce poverty, and enhance the nutrition of smallholder farmers. My most recent role was providing writing services to the University of Guelph. Before that, I served as a consultant to the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and as Country Manager and Potato Project Coordinator at the International Potato Center (CIP) in Cameroon while my permanent residence was in Guelph. CIP is one of the CGIAR centers supported by the Government of Canada through Global Affairs Canada. I have decades of experience managing complex research projects and releasing market-preferred new varieties, including over fifteen potato and sweetpotato varieties in three countries. Additionally, I am bilingual in English and French and Lead Instructor training for Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA) preventive controls for human food.
