Mentorship Opportunities

Mentoring is an optional—but highly valuable—benefit available to Articling Agrologists. As an OIA registrant, you gain access to a strong professional network that spans diverse areas of practice, experience levels, and regions across the province.

Our mentorship program is designed with flexibility in mind. We thoughtfully match mentees with experienced members who can offer meaningful guidance, practical insight, and industry perspective.

From the start, mentors and mentees are encouraged to define what works best for them—whether that’s setting communication preferences (email, phone, or in-person) or determining how often to connect. While quarterly meetings are recommended, each mentorship can be tailored to fit individual schedules and goals.

To help you get started, we provide a six-meeting framework and a Development Plan template to support structured, productive conversations.
