I’m a plant ecologist with a deep curiosity about ecological systems and a commitment to using that knowledge to support environmental and social resilience. My work spans applied and theoretical research, from field-based agroecology to systems-level studies of how plants interact with microbes and insect allies. I recently completed my PhD at UBC, where I studied plant resource allocation strategies within agricultural ecosystems.
Throughout my career, I’ve been drawn to the places where research meets real life. I’m especially energized by knowledge mobilization, stakeholder engagement, and the collaborative problem-solving that helps science become more useful, inclusive, and impactful. Whether I’m mentoring students, coordinating interdisciplinary projects, or translating complex findings into plain language, I thrive in spaces where relationships drive better outcomes.
With nearly a decade of experience, I’ve worked across diverse landscapes and research cultures, from Florida ranchlands to BC farms, and I’m now seeking opportunities that support climate adaptation, biodiversity, or sustainable food systems. I'm particularly interested in roles that combine research coordination, partnership development, and strategic insight.
