  Amiel Blajchman is a Canadian expert in climate change, environmental impact assessment, and community engagement. He leads an ESG consulting company (Cedar Water Strategy), and has over 20 years’ experience working for private sector clients, Indigenous communities, government agencies, mining companies, and international multilateral banks. Mr. Blajchman currently serves as a Board member and chair of the Risk Management and Governance committees of the poverty alleviation charity Ve’ahavta, and volunteers with the PDAC’s CSR committee. He is currently a sessional climate change instructor with the University of Toronto, and has delivered impact assessment training across Canada. Mr. Blajchman has also been involved in the development of Canadian domestic emission trading regulations and Greenhouse Gas GHG offset systems. Mr. Blajchman is a Professional Agrologist (P.Ag.), holds a Master in Environmental Studies from York University as well as a graduate of the ICD-Rotman (University of Toronto) Not for Profit Program.
