Fellow Agrologists:   I have booked space for our group in the dining room at Montana’s at 146 Young Street on the west side of Alliston, on the north side of Hwy 89.   

As a former bank agrologist, I realize how highly privileged we are to be able to visit these complex businesses and meet the owner-managers who run them.  I’m now retired, but the cool thing about my job was that I got the tour, had the discussion at the kitchen table, and then got to see the books (confidentially, of course).   As members of OIA, we don’t get to see the books, but we are granted the opportunity to meet entrepreneurs and discuss business and farm issues that would boggle the mind of the average consumer.  Tours like these that we offer are a privilege that are open to us because we are agrologists. 

Please confirm your attendance and your dinner plans so I can confirm with  Montana’s in Alliston.  Guests are welcome.

Sheldon Creek Dairy is an on-farm dairy, processing and marketing their own non-homogenized A2A2 milk into several different dairy products.  They also operate a large market on-site.
