The Ottawa branch has an event planned for November 19th at 7:00 pm
We will hear from two speakers Mr. Peggy Kabeya will make a presentation on perennial grains and the potential for a new North American cash crop. He is an Articling Agrologist who now works with Farm Credit Canada, and this presentation is part of his requirements for full P.Ag. status.
Then Howard Mains the Manager and a principle owner of Tactix Government Relations & Public Affairs. The company is “focused on delivering high value, client-focused solutions in government relations and advocacy, government procurement and risk communication.” Tactix issued a regular update during the federal election and now that the results are in, Mains will speak on the impact of the election on agriculture.
