Armstrong Manor Farm

Location: Armstrong Manor Farm (13079 Dixie Road, Caledon, ON  MAP)

Located in the white belt in scenic Caledon, the Armstrong Manor Farm has a rich history of farming which dates back to 1828 when the family settled in the area. Today, the farm is proudly managed by the seventh generation of Armstrongs. Their dairy operation has seen several stages of growth and adoptive incorporation of advanced technologies to place the farm over the years on an efficiency continuum. The production per cow has increased to a current level of 39 to 40 liters of milk daily per cow. 

To Be Explored at the Tour:

  • Cows being milked (time dependent)
  • The barn where cattle are housed and fed
  • The heifer barn
  • The calf barn with their robotic feeder
  • The pioneering history

Time:

  • Arrival: 5:00 PM
  • Tour: Approx. 1 hour

Dinner: TBA at nearby location (optional)
