Dairy Distillery is an innovative project that marries artisanal distillery techniques with cutting edge science to transform unused milk sugar into an incredibly smooth vodka.  In keeping with the theme, the vodka is marketed under the name “Vodkow”.

Join the Ottawa Valley Branch of OIA on the evening of January 24, 2019 at 6:30 pm at the Distillery in Almonte for a tour of the plant.  Our host Omid MacDonald will lead us in the tour and explain how they convert waste milk sugar from Parmalate in Winchester into a unique spirit. Tasting will be provided and product is available for purchase.  Family and friends are welcome

Following the meeting, we will move our business meeting to the Barley Mow Restaurant at 79 Little Bridge Street in Almonte (613-256-5669).  We can order as desired from the menu and after our meal we will have a brief business meeting.  Issues to be discussed:

                       *             complete Executive as we need at least 2 Directors at Large

                       *             possibility of hosting OIA AGM in 2010

                       *             bring your concerns and ideas to the meeting

RSVP to Don Good at degood@rogers.com or 613-523-2015 preferred but come anyway.
